Why I do NOT approve of gay “marriage”

I’m not trying to step on any toes, and I will be the first to say: I AM NOT A HOMOPHOBE.  My mom watches Ellen AND Will & Grace.  However, as an educated christian conservative, I feel it is my duty to enlighten the people of the internet on why an EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL does not believe in gay marriage.  Reason one: marriage has historically been between one man and one woman.  Throughout history, in every culture, it has been the same for years.  Up until recently, homosexuality was non-existent.  Homosexuality is a recent phenomenon brought over at about the time of slavery (not saying it is a related, but it makes you think.)  Speaking of that, reason two: gay marriage will spread the AIDS.  The AIDS is a rapidly forming infection that is VERY EASILY transmitted during homo-sex.  The AIDS is deadly, I know I don’t want my future children to be infected, so I stand proud as a non-supporter.  Think of the kids!  The future of America!  Reason 3: gay marriage encourages homo-sex.  The beauty of discouraging gay marriage is that it has been PROVEN (in multiple studies) to prevent homosexuals from having sex.  The logic is:  ”If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay, therefore I will not have homo-sex.” It is basic psychology, ask any psychologist. Reason four:  Okay, I know the libbers like Ellen like to make fun of this one, but it is fact.  It is a slippery slope, folks (and no, I am not talking about lesdyke sex..lol) If we allow two men and two men to get married, who is to say it can’t be 50 men and a 13-year-old white girl?  Who is to say it won’t be 2 guys, a girl, and a pizza place?  This is a valid argument, because it is valid.  I don’t want to bring God too much into this, because I am giving an educated response from a scientific POV (that is “point of view”), however, the good book said it itself when it proclaimed ADAM AND EVE, NOT ADAM AND STEVE. I don’t mean to offend anyone here, I just needed to get this off my chest and say my piece.

OMG THIS IS SO TRUE! I mean…why would America breaks its norms?! Everything has always been the same! There’s no such thing as interracial dating! Or statutory rape! And I mean what the fuck?! Of course AIDS is only spread through monogamous relationsips. How else would millions of people have it instead of just the person who got it and their spouse? Stupid Americans thinking all this foolishness. This is totally the most valid argument I’ve ever seen. Why? Helloooooooooooo!? Because it’s VALID! DUH!! Geeze people. Stop whining about wanting to get married. Cause when you do everyone will just start having buttsex all over the place. Lesbians will have buttsex. Straight couples will have buttsex. Hell, even llamas will have buttsex! It’ll be like a giant buttsex conspiracy all because stupid Bill and Joe wanted to put a ring on it. Stupid queers.

My rebuttal to reason 1: Marriage has been changing for centuries. Are women still considered property in a marriage? Are interracial marriages legal now? Hell, contraception can now be used and that law was passed as late as the ‘60’s. Homosexuality is not a “new thing”. It’s been around since ancient Greece if you’ve done your reasearch. It’s just more widely accepted now, as are many things. For instance, in my parent’s day, divorce was never even spoken of, and now it’s pretty lucky if you DON’T get a divorce.

My rebuttal to reason 2: First off, it’s not “the” AIDS, it’s just AIDS. AIDS is not a “homosexual disease” and they are just as likely to have it as straight people. AIDS is from having unsafe sex with strangers or doing illegal drugs, *correct me if I’m wrong*. Also, it’s much more common in third world countries so why don’t you think of them before saying “The future of Amercia!!!” Worry about someone else for a change.

My rebuttal to reason 3: “If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay…” That makes no sense. I can’t explain logic to illogical statements and thus will be skipping #3. You sound like a 7th grader. And please don’t call it “homo-sex.” It sounds quite offensive, and surprise! Straight people like it up the butt just as much as we do.

My rebuttal to reason 4: 6 US states, along with Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, and Sweden have all allowed gay marriage. None of them have gone to hell yet, or down this “slippery slope”. We’re not changing the definition of marriage. We’re all still humans and still of an age of consent. No one is asking to marry dogs or pizza places or 4 year olds. Possibly because dogs and pizza places can’t consent or sign marriage contracts and 4 year olds cannot consent to that sort of responsibility yet either. We have those laws for safety. There is no harm in having gay people marry.

My rebuttal to the rest…. Adam and Eve vs Adam and Steve? Really? Why aren’t you quoting the Koran or the Bhagavad Gita? Those are religious books too. The first amendment prohibits us from makeing a law respecting an establishment of religion. Basically the seperation of Church and state. A priest or rabbi does not have to marry anyone they don’t want to, and gay people cannot get a religious marriage, (in most cases). We are asking for civil marriage by a judge or an ordained person.
